Tuesday/Thursday Class Schedule:

8:30: Teacher Arrival

9:00-9:10: Student Arrival. A teacher will get the children out of the car and walk them into the building where the other teacher will greet them in the carport entrance to take attendance.

9:10-9:20: The children will use the restroom if needed and wash their hands before lining up to be taken to the classroom on the 3rd floor.

9:20-9:50: Circle Time. The children will go into the quiet room with the teachers where they will say the Pledge of Allegiance, go over the calendar, talk about the weather and what activities they will be doing for that day. They will also have a music and movement period and then the children will have the chance to engage in “Show & Tell."

9:50-10:10: Restroom Break/Story Time

10:10-10:30: Snack Time. The school will provide a healthy snack & drink for each child.

10:30-11:10: Table Time. During table time, the children will practice a variety of skills such as fine motor, math, pre-reading, language arts, science and social studies through planned activities. (See weekly lesson plans for details)

11:10-11:35: Play Centers. The children are free to visit the centers of their choice. They can use the centers to interact with others while working on social skills such as sharing and manners. The centers are also used for skills such as math, language, science, etc.

11:35-11:45: Clean-up

11:45-12:00: Departure. The children will get their book bags and line up to be taken down to the carport entrance where they will remain with one of the teachers while the other one takes the children to their cars one at a time.

11:20-11:40: Bathroom break & story time. Kids take turns using the restroom and washing their hands before lunch while listening to a story.
11:40-12:05:Lunchtime.
